By accessing and using TrolleyChecker (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TrolleyChecker is a grocery price comparison tool that aggregates publicly available pricing data from Australian retailers. The Service allows users to search for products, compare prices across stores, save products, create shopping lists, and track spending.
3. Price Accuracy
Prices displayed on TrolleyChecker are sourced from publicly available data and third-party APIs. We make every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information, however:
- Prices may not reflect current in-store or online prices
- Prices may vary by location, promotions, or stock availability
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pricing data
- Prices should be verified directly with the retailer before making purchasing decisions
TrolleyChecker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the retailers whose prices are displayed.
4. User Accounts
You may use certain features of the Service without an account. Creating an account gives you access to additional features such as cross-device sync, shopping lists, and spending tracking.
When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by TrolleyChecker. Product names, images, and pricing data belong to their respective owners and retailers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our express written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, TrolleyChecker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, losses arising from reliance on pricing information displayed on the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the Settings page.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
